As an introduction to engineering and mechanics, I was given a carburetor for my 13 birthday. I repeatedly took it apart, examined it, and put it back together. A year later, I began working on my own MGB with my uncle in his shop. We brought the car from a state where it wouldn’t start to the first car that I would drive daily. To do so, we took apart almost every part of the car to clean it and observe its functionality. Of course, we then had to put it all back together. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in engineering. Combining this with my passion for sustainability, I decided to study electrical engineering to electrify the world of transportation.
